I'm having a problem with my Pocket Programmer II. It seems that it doesnt want to dump anything bigger than a 4K EPROM. It detects them, it verfies that they're not blank, but when I dump it just has FF's for all the data. Anyone else ever have this problem?

That is something I have only observed with EPROM programmers if the lever wasn't down or the wrong device type is selected.

Very odd.

Nope. The lever is down and I know I have the right EPROM selected.

Put a larger eprom in the socket and while its reading out, measure the voltage on the power pins of the eprom.

Could be your not getting any power on the pin used to supply the larger chips.

I got it working through DOS. I have no idea why it won't work with Windows.

Sorry I've asked this question before but does anyone have the DOS software for the Pocket Programmer II that could let me have.

I'm trying to find out if it still works as I haven't used it for a few years but the floppy with the software doesn't work.
