Nothing wrong with Quicktime. Though I guess, if you're on dialup it isn't as immediate as Realplayer or that Windows thing. Great picture quality though:) Good old Apple:)

maybe quicktime works better on apples, thats my theory. Either that, or the slightly abstract artworks liveinabin does have brainwashed him ;)

You keep saying you want to convert the MOV to AVI to MPG. Why not just go straight to MPG? Why the AVI route? Use QuickTime Pro.

I am just glad it's Quicktime this time and not GOD DAMN FUCKING AVI OR WMV OR SOME FUCKING LOSER FORMAT LIKE THAT!!!!

I'd take Real before I take one of Microsoft's many many non-standard codecs. Haven't I had this conversation before???

And, yeah.. would be nice to live in a world where everyone used MPEG. But companies are stupid. They'll never standardize, and we'll be stuck downloading bloated video files till we're old and grey. Or is it gray?

I never had a freeze on Quicktime when I had a PC. Still, it does run very nicely on Macs, then again..(and you can figure out the rest :D).

Windows media player files have always seemed pretty low quality to me.

Anyway, this is sounding anti-M$ so..er.....GO XBOX!!! :) ;)

Yeah, it was very cool. Some pretty funny things being done there. Stuff you wouldn't see on the Xbox version sadly as I do not enjoy playing most games on a computer.

Ironically, more people prefer playing FPS' on a keyboard, while I prefer using the controller. Especially the Xbox controller which, oddly enough, seems perfectly designed for Halo and other games like Serious Sam which copies the functionality.

And I thought the flying Warthog was cool. Driving trees, what will they think of next?

I enjoyed the crowd of Warthogs on the ground being blown into the air. I have to watch it again.

Jasoco that was the xbox version of Halo. I've done most of those things in the video it's not hard to change the stuff. :D

m u s t . . . . ge t .. . c h ip p e d . . X b o x.

Ok PuddWakkr, how easy is it? if it is easy this will be the one thing that will likely make me get a chipped box. I mean the redisigned ghosts and weapons as well as the physics.

Actually it's very easy. There are two ways. The first is actually hex editing some temporary cache files. It's not that hard and offsets that you change are everywhere. There is also a program that runs on your xbox called HaloCacheEditor. This program lets you go in through a GUI and point and click the changes from a list. It also lets you patch the files with pre-made .ppf patches. Plenty of cool patches are available here... HaloSkins. Although it appears their database is down at the moment. I love the patch that lets you drive the warthog and fire at the same time, something that I think should have been in there in the first place.

EDIT*
Here's a warthog with the AA logo on it ( yeah it's crude but it took about three seconds to do.
