Dragon's Lair arcade in 1983 must be the first Laserdisc game.

I would put Laserdisc as a Genre.

Astron Belt was the first there. Piece o' crap that was :P
Tho I dunno if "laserdisk" could be called a genre...the same goes for 8-bit, 16bit, etc. The information is still stored digitally.
Dragons Lair was more of a graphic adventure or adventure strategy game.

Bosconian was the first game to offer a "continue" feature.

I think that Vanguard beat Bosconian to the arcade by several months, making it the first.

Are you sure about that? It says Bosconian was the first in the MAME history database... and those guys seem like they know what they're doing.

From KLOV:

Bosconian: Midway - 1981
Vanguard: Centuri/SNK - 1981

er... hmm...

:-)

Release dates I've seen don't have months... We may never know! :-)

Mamefans has Bosconian listed with a release date of 11/1981, Vanguard with a date of 10/1981. So it looks as though the latter was first. 8)
Do the flyers state anything?
