Hey guys, dang its been awhile, school has kept me so busy. Anyways, me a three other friends are getting together to play games. I am using my Nintendo 64 and DC, that way I can pick up any last minute games for real cheap with my Eb discount. We were gonna have a LAN party, but no space to host it. Well, what four player (not two) games do you guys recommend. Heres what I got so far: (preferably no sports titles, were not big on those)

Dreamcast
Unreal Tournament
Quake III
PowerStone

Nintendo 64
Mario Kart
Perfect Dark
Pokemon puzzle league
Smash Bros
Mario Party series

For Dreamcast, I would recommend:

Virtua Tennis (you said you weren't into sports, neither am I, but this game is FUN) Give a go if you can get it cheap.

S.F. Rush 2049 (great multiplayer stunt mode, imo)
Tetris 4D
Gauntlet Legends
Re-Volt

Have Fun ! :)

you've already got Perfect Dark and Mario Kart - you don't need anything else. :D

But if you must, another vote for Virtua Tennis - this is much more fun than it sounds.

Well, you already have enough on your list to eat up an entire day easily... every time my friends and I get together for a video game party, each game seems to take about two hours or something. Anyways, here's some Dreamcast recommendations:

Bomberman Tournament
Chu Chu Rocket
Vigilante 8 (It's a crappy Twisted Metal ripoff, but can be fun with multiplayer)

I also noticed you didn't mention any wrestling games... I'm not much of a wrestling fan, but playing four players can make for a pretty good time.

Yeah, I don't have too much to add:
Mario Tennis may be more pick up and play fun than Virtual, maybe not.

If you get Worms for DC, try to get "World Party" and not "Armegeddon"...the former lets each player have their own contoller, the latter makes everyone pass a single controller around.

Powerstone 2, yeah...

Frankly, Quake III gets a lot more play than Perfect Dark...DC is just a more powerful system (the game setup is annoyingly clumsy though)

You got some great systems for multiplayer there...add a GC when they get cheap too :-)

Put a PS1 with Final Fantasy VIII in the kitchen for when you're feeling drunk and unsociable :)

OH--one big thing I forgot for N64--BattleTanx!!! The sequel throws in more fun stuff, but either is great 4 player combat if you like tank games. (And I do...I think the lack of good tank games on any of the big 3 consoles is an awful tragedy (don't know why Thundertanks is so bad, but it just doesn't play well at all.))

Bomberman 64 is fun too....I need to go back and confirm my suspicion it might be more fun than the classic gameplay.

F-Zero X on N64 is pretty decent in 4 player.

Still, with MarioKart, you've got racing pretty much sewn up.

Awesome! Thanks alot! We have a much longer list now. Well definetley will be busy next weekend. Screw college lol. If I feel the urge(and in case someone wants to play a two player game), my PS1 will be set out with my favorite single player games Front Mission 3, FF8, Mega Man X5, etc....
