vintagegamecrazy
Let me clarify here. The list I made are games that weren't made available in the US, I don't care if they are NTSC or Pal I want a list on non us exclusives even if they were homebrew converted. Is there still any games missing? I will delete Robot Fight from the list since it's essentially Missile Command. I can't find any other pics for Donald Duck either but I will do some research. Are there any other games that I have a wrong name for still? On a related note, is there a list of NON us companies that were legitimate 3rd party companies and not piracy gluttons? Thanks again as I really want to make a complete list since there doesn't seem to be one anywhere on the web as of yet.

It's a lot more than just a graphics hack.
Rom Hunter
Same goes for Zoo Fun. It's based on Panda Chase, but not a hack. Omega, Wilma Wanderer (unreleased) is the same game as Lilly Adventure, not Bobby Is Going Home. Edited March 25, 2008 by Rom Hunter

Rom Hunter
On a related note, is there a list of NON us companies that were legitimate 3rd party companies and not piracy gluttons? Bit Corporation, Funvision, Gem International Corporation, Sancho and Dimax/Sinmax (all from Taiwan) made some true originals. TechnoVision and Video Gems are non US companies as well and made 100% originals. Edited March 25, 2008 by Rom Hunter
vintagegamecrazy
I guess Polyvox would count as well even though they only licensed other companies games, they aren't pirate at least. I take it my list is complete now?

rheffera
Unique PAL Games? Why i believe all the games for atari 2600 are unique to the SUPERIOR PAL format, their NTSC conterparts are just poor imitations. , and the ones that are unique to the: Not Those Sucky Cartridges format were all trash. Take froggo for example. Im just screwing around, but i do believe PAL has better original games, all the conversions from PAL to NTSC Thomas makes proves that, but you see hardly any ntsc to pal conversions done. In any Case, nice list Omega. Edited March 26, 2008 by rheffera

Dino
Please know that many of the 32 'PAL only' titles were also released in NTSC by Brazilian and/or Taiwanese companies. ROM, I take it by "Brazillian NTSC" you mean PAL-M?
A.J. Franzman
I take it by "Brazillian NTSC" you mean PAL-M? Speaking of Brazil, does anyone know if Brazilian consoles (used with Brazilian TVs) display PAL colors, NTSC colors, or something else? Since they run at 60 Hz and use cartridges with mostly unmodified NTSC code, I would expect them to display NTSC colors. If this is indeed the case, then the comment above is pointless. Sr. Ferraz
Hi, The consoles manufactured in Brazil are NTSC, the console has a internal 'transcoder' NTSC>>> PAL-M (see a model of the plate in the photo below). The carts are usually NTSC, we can use the carts manufactured in the USA without problems. The system PAL-M is different from the European PAL, some PAL carts has problems on the image and colors when played on a console manufactured in Brazil. The company Polyvox was a 'representative' authorized by Atari in Brazil. I never saw the Polyvox cart with the game 'Donald Duck's Speedboat', I have this game in carts of other Brazilian companies (JVP and MaxGames). The cart 'MegaBoy Educational Cartridge' was designed and produced in Brazil by the company Dynacom (initially for the portable console MegaBoy). See more about Brazilians items for Atari 2600 in my topic: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=83572 Excellent week !!! LS_Dracon
In right, that grey/silver retangle, I think is a cristal component, used for color information. The mods ntsc to pal-m usually change this cristal. Did you have a Megaboy console? With cart? I never saw one... Edited March 31, 2008 by LS_Dracon
Sr. Ferraz
Dear friend LS_Dracon, The component with the gray/silver color is not a crystal, is a capacitor. The crystal is located on the main board of the console. The crystal in the photo below has a 'plastic cover' with the code of the product. Crystal for PAL-M: 3,575611 MHz Crystal for NTSC: 3,579545 MHz When you modify the console has to change the crystal. I have 2 consoles MegaBoy with defect, I will repair one of them but are missing some blue buttons ... I made a comment about it here: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...3572&st=

And had buttons instead switches. Dear Sr. Ferraz, can you take some photos of megaboy board and post here? I wondering see it's compact board. Only if easy to open, ofcourse. +thegoldenband
I've been playing Thomas Jentzsch's NTSC conversion of Motocross today, and was wondering why it's not mentioned in this thread...? I mean the Suntek/Starsoft/whatever title, not the Xonox Motocross Racer game. From what I've seen on Atarimania it looks like there are one or more undumped (?) Brazilian NTSC releases, but that's true of a bunch of other games on this thread. Was it omitted through oversight, or am I missing something? But it should be there, allright. Starsoft does not exist, btw. That brand is made up by some dipstick. The brand is called SunScience.
