I dunno...but so many people know about it, I would guess that it's not all that rare. The Japanese have bizarre ideas for games sometimes...maybe they just slap a lot of junk together when the programmers are short on "idea" people? Luckily, the 2600 does not have this flaw ;)

To be honest, I think that's part of what appeals to me about the TG-16 already, just from the limited experience I've had with it so far. I've already noticed that wry Japanese humor/sarcasm in Keith Courage, when the shop owners say "Oh you don't have enough money? Too bad!" :lolblue: The more strange, funny, or bizarre the games get, the happier I'll be. Viva la TG-16!

I'm telling you, the japanese gaming industry would collapse without LSD.

And every time I play a game with characters like Yamato Man, Launch Octopus and Bubble Man, I'm entirely and eternally grateful they're all doped out of their minds. :D Capcom got some GOOD WEEEEEEEED and a lot of leak in their Philly wet.

All these people keep bringing up Magical Chase but has anyone ever found a copy for sale at a reasonable price?  ;)

Got mine when it was new back in the day for right around $10. In fact, I never opened it because I had a loose one that I played. I think the game sucks and that's why I sold my extra copy for some mad cash and never opened the sealed one.

And I think it has built-in AV ports, too. It may be a stupid all-in-one connector, though

Nope, nothing special just regualy RCAs will work.

I remember the Video Game Bible has a chapter on TG-16 now, I'll have to read it to get up to speed on this stuff a bit. But it sounds like what I've read and what I'm hearing is that if I had gotten a Turbo Duo I wouldn't have to worry about cards or add-ons (it's the unit and CD in one I take it) and since I have a regular TG-16 it may be a royal P.I.T.A. to get it to play everything.

Yea the Duo is the all in one. Really it's not a pain to have a regular TG setup to play everything. System 2 card comes with the CD Unit and that whole deal should be around $50. System 3 card is around $50. A new Duo would be around $150+. I have all the different setups just because but I always preferred the Duo. I'd say you should just say screw it get a Duo so you can buy thishttp://cgi.ebay.com/...31&category=187 and play it :D
