OK, I'm just sitting here with a small stack of games I've actually played for a pretty good length of time on the GC, and I don't actually have 5 games I'd recommend yet. I have 3 I really like and a few more I still need to play more, though.

Recommend:

Super Mario Sunshine - possibly the best game I've ever played. No shit, and I'm totally old school.
Crazy Taxi - I understand there's not a lot of depth to this game, but boy, I really like it. Total escapism. You can really lose track of how long you've been playing, and then find you have no feeling left in your thumb or wrist.
Super Monkey Ball - so what if it's a big Dole commercial, it's the closest to an updated Marble Madness I guess I'm ever going to get. Great alone or with friends.

Don't Recommend:

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - beautiful graphics, but you're running through these detailed environments that are 99% dead except for the one thing the game wants you to do next (and maybe a few hidden powerups or coins.) Malicious camera, too.

Haven't Played Enough:

Zelda bonus disc - yes, that's right, I got the bonus disc with Ocarina of Time off of ebay without buying Wind Waker. I can already see I'm in danger of spending far too much time at this. Maybe I'll hold off on Wind Waker till I finish this one ;)
Rebel Strike bonus disc - I'm glad I preordered Rebel Strike because the Hoth level they give you is a lot of fun. Thumb killer though. The original arcade game works better in MAME where there are more options to make the vectors easier to see.

I also got that 5-game bonus disc but I went over its contents in a previous post.
