You might want to take the caps lock off when you are posting here. People go all crazy over that for some reason. ;)

Maybe include the contact cleaner with the paddles in your auctions? :P

Not sure, I think if you keep adding it, and keep working them in, it will start to work better, more than one day. I've had the same thing happen to me. They work well right then, but a few days later was the same way as before. But after several times of cleaning and working it in they seem to hold up better. Contact cleaner is the best that I know of.

Did you find your chip at work? :D

DON'T just keep spraying degreaser in it. I have restored about 7 or 8 sets of paddles and they work for good permanent. You need to take the entire potentionmeter apart by lifting up the little prongs holding it together. once you get it apart you will see the circuit board (clean it good with alcohol) and you will also see the little brass contacts that touch the board. you need to be carful not to bend them but every one that I have fixed has been cloged with some black nasty shit. I think it is from spraying that stuff in it. Clean everything out really good and bend the little brass things up a little bit so they touch the board harder and put it back together carfully and bend the prongs back down and you will have a BRAND NEW paddle that will work for a long time. I have sold sets on ebay for 12.00 that I got in a lot of jittery ones so there is deffinetly some money to be made by restoring them.
