P icked up a few Genny carts at a yard sale this weekend, but the previous owner wrote his name on them with white-out. Fortuantely it's on the carts themselves and not the labels.... I could scratch it off, but I'd rather not scratch up the cart case if I don't have to. Anyone know what takes White Out off? I have bunches of extra Genny boxes so I can swap those out no sweat.

Oh, the games were Clay Fighter, Streets of Rage 2 and a Game Genie. What were those GG code sites again? :D

I've had this before. A little Lighter Fluid on a paper towel and it comes right off.

dont use gasoline.. fool :P

You need to go buy some zippo fluid, make sure it has naphtha in it.. that stuff will remove ANYTHING.

Its just paint, so paint thinner should work. Kind of clever of them to put white paint in 1/2 oz bottles and sell for the equivalent of $100/gal. :)

why not gasoline? I used it on an old T2 NES cart to take off the blockbuster sticker, when zippo fluid would not, and the game looks and works fine

I guess the fumes for one, and the danger of explosions for another. Gasoline is designed to go in tanks, not on carts.

Oh man, I *hate* this smell. When refueling a diesel truck we leased for AGE, the damn gas pump didn't stop immediately when the tank was full, spewing diesel fuel all over my shorts, shoes and socks. Stupidly, I then washed these clothes with some others, not realizing that the diesel smell would permeate everything that was in the load. It took me some time to finally get the smell out.

You might appreciate the soybean additive available for diesel cars, it ends up smelling like movie theatre popcorn. :P

Considering my parents grow soybeans, yes, I'd say I appreciate it a lot. ;)
