Yeah. Too easy in the first game.

A bit harder in the third. And even more in the fourth.

Not really. Just use Princess and memorize the patterns. He spits them at a timed interval and they always spread out and allow space to go between them if you walk at the right time. When he stops, jump up, float over him and prepare to toss it in from behind when he opens wide to shoot again.

Easy as Pie.

The last boss in the first Final Fantasy Legend GameBoy game. Just use an item you'd been carrying the entire game, and he dies in one hit. Woo hoo.

I did on both the 7800 and Lynx. I was so disappointed that the end was one of those sliding puzzle type things. I've always hated those type of puzzles. I didn't get past that.

One of the lamest bosses, I think, was the machine boss, the one at the end of the mines, in Phantasy Star Online. The previous boss, De Rol Le, was a total nightmare to get past. I went through the mines a few times but never fought the boss, because the last one was so damn tough that I really had to psyche myself up just to see what the next boss was like. I used my crappiest weapon, the Mechguns, just so I wouldn't be missing anything when I dropped them when I die, and fought the boss. Even with the nearly worthless accuracy of the Mechguns, I still finished it off without hardly taking any damage. What a huge letdown.

Dark Falz sure put a kibosh on things though, but quick. I can't count the times I've gotten to him, just to either die or just BARELY squeak by with a victory (and lose most of my healing items in the process). Killing him so I could go to the Ultimate difficulty on Ver 2 took me the better part of a day, and even at level 100 (a human ranger with a SWEET rifle and awesome accuracy), he gave me a serious headache. I did manage to do it, though, and when I got to the Ultimate difficulty, the normal enemies were harder than some of the bosses. Bah!

i can beat him regularly, but in the day, it took a lot of work, and i dont need to use the princess to do it

i tend to play the game where every character gets the same number in the end.

Yeah - a number of times. I was so pissed that the "special challenge" was so differnet that it belonged in a different game. I've never beaten the game, though I have made it to the "final challenge' for or five times. I suck so bad at the challenge that it isn't worth playing the game for an hour and a half only to lose because of the final scene. :-(

The Creator was a pretty cool boss. Was it the Chainsaw? "CREATOR is cut in half." HAH!

The Dark King in FFMQ was mega-vulnerable to the cure spell, making him pretty easy as well.

Yeah, it was the Chainsaw. I mean, I could understand if it did more damage or something, but it OFFS him man. Seriously, that's a hell of a letdown. Yeah, I could just not use it, but that'd be like going off to fight Superman bare handed when you've got some Kryptonite in your dresser drawer.

And I remember trouncing the Dark King in FFMQ. That game STILL has some of the best music I've ever heard.
