Hi all,

I recently won an eBay lot win a TON of joysticks, and I have 4 partially working CX24 joysticks. I'm trying to figure out how to remove the stick from the upper body without breaking it. I've separated the upper body form the lower body, but I haven't been able to get the stick apart, and I'm afraid to break it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Those arent' the normal atari sticks are they? If they have a big plastic grip handle with a button on the top you might need to take the handle apart too. Look for screw holes in the side of the stick.

It is the normal Atari 7800 joystick. No fire button on top, just the ones on the side.

Oh, I have taken one of those apart too. I think the sticks are riveted to the part that pushes on the board. I don't think they come off easily. But I cold be wrong.
