i'm interested in using the pixelspast.com/atariage.com developer carts with zif socket.

is it possible to use 32k eproms (27256) with smaller binaries? in other words, could i burn and use anything out there with a 32k eprom?

are the 8/16/32k binaries compatible with the pixel past cart? in other words, are there different bank-switching schemes?

what other compatability issues/snags can i expect?

thanks!

http://www.tripoint....files/sizes.txt

many of the answers were right in front of me.

but i'd still like to know..

1. can a 32k cart be used for 2 and 4k binaries? perhaps by multiplying the binary to fill the space (or at least the first memory bank)?
2. why does a 2k binary have to be doubled on a 4k cart?

pixels-past replied to an e-mail i had sent them stating the 8-32k cart could not be used with 2/4k images. i'd be thankful for any pointers on why this is so.
