A duh question. Does Ikaruga play on stateside Dreamcast consoles or only on the Japanese consoles. I am getting a Dreamcast but I don't want to spend the big bucks on the game only to realize I can't play it.

If you've got a boot disc or a modded DC it'll play fine on your stateside DC.

Boot discs can be bought, but they are also pretty easy to burn copies of.

I use Cheats 'n' Codes Vol. 1 to boot Ikaruga on my NTSC U.S. Dreamcast.

Well the iso that i found didn't require me to use a bootdisc at all. In fact I've never used a bootdisc for my DC applications.
