Was Bagman ever released for any home system, either console or computer?

I definitely remember seeing it advertised for the C=64. It's the only home version i've ever seen. I used to love playing that game, back when convienence store used to have arcade games in them. That Diamond Shamrock got rid of Bagman and brought in Vanguard, then later Baby Pac-Man. Ah, Memories.....

I played this game recently up at Funspot. Pretty fun little game with a pretty hilarious digitized voice sample when you die! You hear a scratchy digitized "Oy Oy Oy" when your bagman dies! Classic!! :)

Bagman was one of my favorite games and the first game I downloaded for MAME. I have never seen a home version.

There was a clone of Bagman for the color computer 2 (coco2) that I can't remember the name of. I did own it back in 84 and it played very close to the original.

..not only that, the game has its own voice synthesizer chip. Itīs used for the "oy oy oy", some soundeffects(!) and 2 other sentences: "Hui!", "Eh hoppla!"

But its so damn hard.....

You mean "Le Bagnard" perhaps? That would even be the original version.

Indeed. I don't think I've ever been able to clear a level. :(

That game is tough! I never got close to clearing a level. Is there
a trick or am I just getting old?

Well, personally.. I cheated! But I HAD to see what happens when you clear the level after all those years.

Basically once you clear it, it shows Bagman chasing the 2 guys on the bottom with the pickaxe, then you nail them. And he runs off the screen. That's about it

Do you repeat the same stage again or are there different cave layouts for the subsequent rounds?

It's the same stage. You just redo it.

Yknow.. it may be different for Super Bagman however. I wonder what happens when you finish that one? No, I've never done it :P
