Okay, here's the deal. I just recently bought an Atari 2600 Junior off of eBay, and I'm having a major problem with it. The system will not remain powered on unless I push the power switch (or simply keep my finger on it without the removable plastic part). What should I do about this? Is it possible that just cleaning the board will work, or is the switch itself bad?

Probably just the switch, if you want to replace it send me a PM.

I will move this thread into the hardware forum shortly. :)

Whoops. =(

Oh, in the cases where I have the switch in the on position but the system isn't working, the LED is on but dimmed.

Hmm...

Check your power supply. If the power LED is dim, then that probably means the system isn't getting enough power.
