I'm looking for either the Neo/Geo or NeoCD system.
Please PM me if you have either for sale.
Thanks.

Head over to:

http://neostore.com/

Or the selling forums at neo-geo.com

You shouldnt have any problems getting set up.

Neostore is a bit on the high side with hardware. Most of their stuff is "collector" quality. I've bought games from Shawn before, but some of the hardware prices are insane. Like $1200 for a new system! :o :D

But I agree the forums are quite nice for finding items.

I've actually got a toploading CD system right now, I'm thinking of parting with. Bought it recently, but it's not really my thing, I think I'd rather stick to carts. But I've got a Neo Geo CD toploader, with hookups, 6 games, and 1 pro arcade controler. PM me if you'd like to see some pics or more details.

Pricing is something that has allways bugged me with neo-geo stuff. Its usually 4x more expensive than it ever should be. I also have a top-loading cd, and a couple games. I'd love to get more, but they're just too friggin expensive. I love the quality the games, and the neo-geo itself. Getting a AES system is definately on my TODO, but some of the carts are $200-400 which is just insane.

$200-$400 is normal for a home cart. Few are under $100 and even fewer are under $50. Be prepared to pay alot more that $400 for the good carts collectors are after. Some are "worth" $2000+

Thanks for the info guys...
Don't know much about the system.
Just want to play me some Baseball Stars.
This looks like it might be something I have to save up for.

I sold Tempests' system and games this past year. Prices on that stuff are still high, that is true. Here's an idea...

If you have the 'real estate' in your gameroom, consider an arcade machine. You could get an MVS 1 slot 19 inch machine off ebay and with shipping still be 1/3 the cost of that home system. The MVS titles are the identical gameplay, and the carts are 1/10th of the price. Just my .25 cents.

Cassidy

BTW, Baseball AllStars is one of the cheaper titles. Good thing, eh?
