I have an O2 that is long dead but I always liked the joysticks. I have quite a few dead CX-40s lying around so I did a little rewiring and can now use my O2 sticks on my VCS. Cool!

I tried the SMS Sports controller(tracball) on the VCS too with Centipede and Missile Command. I had to keep the switch in the equivalent of the "joystick" position but it really worked well. I actually like it better then the Atari made tracball for the 2600.

Started mapping out the wires on the 5200 stick too. I may have to go Dr. Frankenstein on one of those sticks too. :D

That's cool. I always thought of ripping the controllers of my odyssey to play on VCS. Their hardwired, but there nothing to wire with a nine pin.

Mine were "hardwired" too. They really aren't, when you open up the O2 you'll see that they are just plugged in anyway. It was really easy to do and took only about 10 minutes. I'll try to remember to post the diagram I made to do it later on.
