Wow! Thanks for all the kind words and renewed interest.
Yes, the CD's are still for sale. PayPal is preferred.
Incidentally, I do still owe people refunds from unfulfilled subscriptions. If you are one of those people (I keep a handy dandy list) I'd be more than happy to trade a CD and close your account. Just give the word. It would also help me out immensely.
Also, the Classicgamer.com website is one big screwy mess at the moment. Being as I can't access it at the moment (I won't bore you with the details on that) the mailing address isn't accurate. I hope to remedy that soon though. This is why PayPal is preferred for now.
My cav@classicgamer.com e-mail is now just a sea of spam so it's best to get ahold of me at: cgm_cav@yahoo.com.
For those who wanted to know what was on the CD, it's basically what Mr. Sniderman said. All six issues in PDF format are on one disc. For some reason I'm drawing a blank on the "extras." I'm pretty certain there is the original black and white "run it up the flagpole and see if anyone salutes" issue, which contains a few articles not in the official "issue #1." The biggest standout being an article about the first CGExpo [when it was World of Atari 98].
Now, if I could just get my act together I'd ultimately like to round up the gang and see if we couldn't throw something together if only for a free downloadable issue and/or toss it out on CD-Rom. That is if anyone is interested in having something like that.
Sadly, I can't print any more copies. If you knew how much the printed magazine cost me you'd probably soil yourself. Believe it or not I'm not even entirely sure I have a complete printed set for myself. I just may have to steal Sniderman's set next time I'm in his area.
Now about having Sniderman copy the cd and giving it out...I cast my vote against that. But I may be a bit biased on the subject.
If anything, get it to see what some of your fellow forum members have written. Tim Snider and Earl Green (among others) wrote some really entertaining articles.
Take care everyone and happy holidays!
