Does anyone know what the correct rating for the DC adapter is for the sega game gear? I'm using a genesis one at the moment just to test (it works) but I don't want to cause any damage. Then again, the genesis 1 and 2 had different ratings, not sure which mine is for - its 10V and .85A with positive tip.

The adapter I use is, as far as I know anyway, an original Gamegear adapter. It says "Output 9V DC 1A 9VA"

i use a 6 volt but its sapose to 9
