If you use Xbox it works with z26x using a usb adapter on the xbox, if you are using just z26 or stella i don't think either one of those supports usb controllers or if so I can't figure out how to get them to work?

I checked it in my control panel and the PC is seing it perfect, but the emu's don't? Perhaps they will add USB support soon?
The current Windows version of z26 (2.10) supports any kind of joystick that provides two axis and at least one button. But it always uses the first controller in your Windows control panel for the left Atari joystick and the second one for the right Atari joystick. Also the controller has to be plugged in before you start z26.

The current version of Stella should also support one joystick. The next version which should be released soon, will support up to eight joysticks, I think.

WOW~! Word from the man himself! lol

Thank you! I will go back and give it another try...I could not get it to work with the emu the first time, but i could go into test/calibrate in control panel and it was moving around so it is working correctly..not sure why the emu is not seeing it, but I'll give it another shot!

You could always build your own. Just flip the top plate over to make it right-handed.

Thanks for the link. Nice stuff. Easy to do just what you said. :)

I too am annoyed with all the left-handed stuff.  I want my dominant hand to be controlling the little character on screen.

I have to agree with that. How did the left handed perspective on joysticks ever take over in the first place?

Uh.. :ponder: :? |style_emoticons/atariage/icon_innocent.gif

Sorry, my fault. My anti-leftyisim took over at the disipointment at seeing yet another arcade stick I can't use.

Any who. The USB Atari stick looks look.

Got me thinking about maybe getting a cheap usb joypad, and turning it into an ataptor to plug a regular unmodified atari/cbm stick into.
