About 10 years ago I played a Nes game where you're in a spaceship or something similar with an overhead perspective, flying through mazes trying to control something like a virus that spreads through the maze by shooting it with your guns

Anyone know what game I'm talking about? I'd love to play it again.

If not, any suggestions on how I could go about trying to figure out what title it was?

Sounds kind of like Fantastic Voyage... But that was on the Atari 2600 so that couldn't be it.

Thanks guys, I'll check those out.

Oh and its definately not the Intellivision or Atari 2600 games mentioned, I own both and am familiar with them.

That screenshot looks familiar, so I bet that's it. I should know when I try playing it.

Its definately not Life Force or Abadox.

I couldn't find a rom of Mutant Virus to try to out to see if that was correct or not.

Wish I could, I'd like to find the game and purchase it for my collection.

It freezes after a few seconds in my emulator, but I could play enough to know this was it.

Thanks, now I can buy the cart and get to play through it.

Try NEStopia. And FCEUltra.

Also try unleashing the NESToy ROM management tool upon it. Many NES ROM images have bad headers, which totally fuck emulation up.
