Marathon Infinity - Mac
Vigilante 8: Second Offense - Dreamcast
Midnight Mutants - Atari 7800

That covers the game styles I enjoy, FPS, vehicular combat, and adventure.

If I could only have 3 games to play, I'd go insane. I've stared at your post thinking for 10 minutes now. I couldn't come up with three and only three. Too difficult.

Ok, can't give this too much thought or you'd end up picking something like the Activision Anthology which really is 50+ games in one :D

I'd go with:

Ballblazer (8bit/5200)
Tetris DX (GBC)
Galaga (Arcade)

Yeah, I thought about it for five minutes too, mostly I wanted to add like 10 to 20 just in case games :) But if I had to pick three I'd go with mine.

Adventure - Atari 2600 (I never get tired of level 3!)

Resident Evil - Gamecube (I imagine this would give me enough practice time to make it thru with only the knife)

Halo - Xbox (Well, that is, till Halo 2 comes out!)

Animal Crossing, GameCube - Heh heh heh... this should be one eeeveryone's list! It's a game with 15 NES games in it!

GTA: Vice City, PS2 - With only three games (ish...) I have the feeling I'd need to release some frustration at some point, and sniper rifles are just great.

Super Mario All-Stars, SNES - ....four... Super Mario games.... heeee.

What the hey, I'm game.

Tetris. This one is timeless! It might not be my favorite game but it has staying power.

Any iteration of Chessmaster, probably for the NES, or SNES.

Sonic and Knuckles 3. Sure, it technically comes in two cartridges, but we all know it's meant to be one game. ;) While seemingly a simple platformer that you'd eventually get tired of, amazingly every year I play through it several times and still learn new secrets. I would have chosen Wonderboy III in this one's place, but while it's my absolute favorite I know it like the back of my hand by now.

You need three games with phenomenal replay value. I assume you can play online (None of that Desert Island crap). The three that come to mind:

1. Civilization II
2. Diablo II
3. (Tie, pick 'em) Quake II or Duke Nukem or Half Life.

1: Russian Roulette
2: Russian Mine Roulette
3: Polish Roulette

I'd kill everyone I saw if I were stuck with the same three games for the rest of my life.
