I recently bought "Off E Bay" "Olympic Summer Games" - Sega Genesis, and it didn't come with instructions.

After playing it a few times I still can't figure out how to do a couple events.

Triple Jump and Discus throw.

Does anyone play this game? If so, what's the secret to competing in these events.

:? I can't jump more than 1ce on Triple Jump and can't figure out how to throw the Daaamn Discus.

Any Help?

I'm pretty sure when you jump the computer will reset and let you try again, and take the best of your three.

As for disc throwing, you rotate the pad (up left down right, etc) And when you get to a good speed, but befor passing over the line, you slam a button, be sure the guy's facing the right direction or the disc could fly anywhere and won't be counted.

Come to think of it, I was thinking long jump, probably a different thing. It's been way to long since I played the game...I should have kept that one.

I haven't played this game but I usually like the Summer/Winter gametypes so I'll have to be on the lookout for it :)

Here's the control schemes for the different events:

Sounds like your thinking of the NES version of Summer Olympic games.
Thats exactly how you throw the discus in the NES version.

I Googled the game and found a website that had directions on all the events and how to compete in them.

Problem solved.

Thanks for trying to help :)
