Which one's better? Atari 400 or 800? Why? Thanks.

If you prefer actual typewriter-style keys over a flat membrane keyboard, I'd say the 800 is better. Then again, I haven't owned either system to really say.

I've never used the 400, but I have fond memories of the 800... Playing Miner 2049, eating spaghettios, watching Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future...

The 800 is better in just about every way. The 400 was only designed as a low-cost alternative.

Unless you have nostaligic memories there is no reason to want a 400
these days. It has a crap keyboard and less memory. The 800 is the way
to go to play 8-bit games although I prefer the smaller 800XL.

I don't have an 800, but I have played one that a friend had and I like it a lot.
