Hello,
I just picked up a Ms. Pac Man but there is something wrong with it. I'm not sure as to what, the person that had it before me use to play it all the time, and i guess it just stopped working. The screen flickers every once in a while and when i first turned it on a i heard some clicking noises. I still need to clean out all the dust etc. But could someone give me some tips as to what i should check for, or mess with, or specifically clean out? Anything would be helpful! Thanks

It could be something as simple as a loose connector, cut wire, blown fuse, corroded connector or loose ROM.
Mediocre:Bad power supply, bad ROM. (But dangerous:replace caps on moniter board)
BAD:Bad board, bad moniter.

Here is a web site that help me get started and they have a forum(which you have too sign up for to spop spammers):

The people are very helpful.

Ok, If anyone can help, I've got the screen to come up now, but it's a very dark blue. And not everything shows up. Any Idea's? I've gone through some of those sites, don't see anything specific towards that, and since i'm not very familiar with it all, it gets a little confusing. Let me know, Thanks

Well,

At least its not dead! Sounds like the blue drive is really high up, and the brightness is really way down. Depending on the monitor, it may have a black drive pot (Wells Garner had these), or if its a G07, I have had a dirty 'screen' (that one is on the flyback of either monitor, the other one there is a focus control) pot cause that. Play with your controls on the monitor and use a small mirror to see what you are doing. Will it play blind (in other words, can you play it without seeing it on the screen)?

You may also try this: There is a connector on the monitor board that has 4 wires going to it (from the main board). See if it is loose or a dirty connection. I had some color problems on mine and I eventually had to replace the wire and connector.
BTW: Is this a regular cabinet or a cocktail table?
