Yes, I collect for the NES. I have 128 games and I also have all the various accessories Nintendo made (except for the Hands-Free controller).

Indeed I do, although not actively. My only extras at the moment are Wrath of the Black Manta and Captain Skyhawk.

Check out playnintendo.com if you are into the NES. There's a lot of great people on those boards. :D

I have probably close to 300 NES games and several accesso0ries like Konami Laserscope (boxed), U-Force (complete boxed and like new), and the Powergloves.

But I'd trade the whole collection just for these one NES cart: Nintendo World Championship (gold version) Grey version would be worth half of my collection.

Yes I do collect.

No I can't trade. I have nothing. Except a Solstice that I accidentally bought again (Returning tomorrow) and a TMNT II. That's all.

I have 119 individual NES games not counting the boxed dupes. I have a long way to go to hit 700. And many will have to be expensive.

Lots of people here collect for NES. But as it's an Atari-Centric board, there's probably a larger percentage at the Digital Press boards. http://www.digitpress.com/forum :)

Add me to the list of collectors of the NES. I've got 60 or so games for it. I remember this was the system right after my 7800.

I collect/play for NES. I mostly collect only games that I enjoyed as a kid and their sequels. I also collect unlicensed games from American Video Entertainment and Camerica.

I recommend playnintendo.com if you want to find another board similar to this one, but all about Nintendo.

I do. Going for 100 this year, and I'm not off to a bad start so far. 6 new titles this January, Little Samson among them finally.

I don't play my NES enough nowadays. I think it's cuz I relate more to Atari now than I did before.

I hope that playnintendo.com can construct an accurate rarity guide. Mike Etler's guide is in need of updating.

I don't play mine much either. I just collect them. And if I really want to play, I use an emulator to try the games I have.

I'd settle for prices on Digital Press' NES list. All the other lists have prices. The Nes one doesn't! GRRRRR...

now is the time to collect NES games, they're still fairly easy to find and not too expensive. of course if you like a challenge then wait 5 years but if you want to get a good collection going dont wait. i've gathered up somewhere between 500-600 games already, fairly easily actually, i havent paid more than a few dollars for any of them. the only ones that seem really hard to get are the series games for some reason. the unlicensed games are not common but not impossible to find either (except those sanchen games which i do not count).

I'm wondering if I should set a personal goal for this year.

I only started last year and added to the less than a dozen NES games I actually had. I now have over 100 games. Think I can keep going at that pace? Soon enough, the cheap games will be gone and it'll be up to me to find all the really WANTED games. Castlevania, all the Dragon Warriors and Final Fantasies...

eBay is good, but it won't give me everything. And GameStop can't have all games at all times. So I gotta find another place to find these things!

Yes but not as actively as Atari. I have about 100 carts. If I see them cheap, I buy them but that applies to just about anything :D

You described me to a T. Except the part about Atari... which I conveniently cut out of my quoting of you.
