Hunh. What did those Jackets look like, and where in the world did you find those together?

I got mine for about the same price, but the people selling it thought it was just StarFox.

They were the leather bomber Starfox jackets you hear about. Where was it sold? Why at Nintendo of America of course! :)

I had just moved to WA state and was temping there, basically opening up letters to Nintendo Power for piddly wages (which was somewhat humiliating since I'm an EE by trade). It was near the holidays and the company store had a sale where they were dumping all sorts of promotional material and such. The things that were hot at the time, like N64 games went out quick, but no one touched the SNES stuff. So that's how I got Starfox Competition (which I had never heard of at the time) for 2 bucks. They had a couple Starfox Jackets on the side as well.

Some other stuff of note:
Free batteries! They had a large box full of AA batteries. You basically just grabbed as much as you could
Free Pikachu virtual pets. Not sure if that's what they were called.. but it's those little pikachu thingys like a Tamagotchi. They had them by the hundreds, open, free
I picked up a lot of other junk as well. Stuff like Mario Kart Soundtrack tapes, Killer Instinct soundtrack cd's, ummm Mario "educational" books, and of course plenty of cheap games.

The thing is, I'm sure I missed a lot. Those employees were ravenous!
