[Cauldron]

I have a Frogger game that matches the look of the label scan on this site. The question I had is this:

WHY WON'T IT FIT??? Most Atari carts are square at the connection point, this one has slanted sides. It is the same width, length, depth, etc. of an Atari cart, but because of that slant, it won't fit in the unit. I have compared it to other console systems, and it doesn't fit either.

Any ideas? Could this be a PAL version that mysteriously ended up in my local thrift store?

Any ideas? Is this rare? Or am I just stupid and haven't found the right console for it yet?

It sounds like a Colecovision cart.

I'd say it's Colecovision. I remember going into a thrift and seeing Colecovision Donkey Kong. At first I didn't realize it wasn't 2600 and got all excited think I found a proto or rare label variation, then I saw Colecovision on it, and threw it at the clerk.



Okay, that isn't totally true, but it did have the slant you described on your Frogger cart.

i did the same error on an auction for frogger2 and miners 1

and marco just bid 50$ on a coleco box with an atari Miner's 2049er ... just because of the microfun sticker i guess ...

Me too, I have buy in a store a game calls Frantic Freddy. Never hear this before. And I know why, it Coleco Vision too.

In the store I have wonder me, that the board is bigger. But the Lable look like a pirated Keystone Kaper that I know, so I have buy it.

Now it lay in my room for month, and I can't do anything with it.

Okay, so I'm stupid.. It's a Colecovision cart. Next time I will look a little more closely before I tell my wife she can buy it. :P

BTW, if anyone is looking for any Odyssey2 carts, I found about 5 at the same thrift store...
