Also covered are topics such as custom case mods, iPod hacks, wireless and mobile device experimentation, and much more! Looks like a great book, I like Mitnick's quote about it on the cover ;)

It's at $28 at Amazon from a $40 list price. For books at that price range I usually have to thumb through it awhile at Borders or Barnes & Nobles before I commit but we'll see how the word of mouth goes :)

You guys are totally going to dig this book. Albert did an awesome job on the Atari and iPod hacks. If you like tinkering with stuff, you'll be in heaven. There's something in here for everyone, even if you're a beginner :)

Joe/Albert, this book looks awesome. Unfortunately I will be unable to attend PC5 :? Is there another way to order one of those great autographed copies? Let me know. Thanks and cheers.

We'll be selling any left over books through the AA store. We'll have 100 at the show. If we run out of those, you could always ship a book to us and we'll sign it :)

Is there any way that we could pre-order the book through AA? I'd love to make it to PC5, but I don't think it's in the cards for this year. :)

Does it only have video game equipment? I have a bunch of laser tag parts (Switches, LEDs radio wave senders/recievers, ect.) that I want to do something with.

Check out the table of contents here:

Video games are only part of the book. We also have consumer electronics (iPod, Nokia cell phones, Palm PDAs), wireless networking, and other goodies. :)

Went to Amazon and took a look at the reviews: 5 out of 5 people gave the book 5 out of five stars

I should get a copy myself, and if it would be autographed, that all the better :)

Definitley a book not to be missed, especially for the texts by Bobby Kinstle and Tom Owad of Applefritter.

If you're thinking of buying the book, take a look at http://www.applefritter.com for a taste of what to expect![/url]
