Anyone with a hatred for PS2 should check www.cmvisuals.co.uk To cut a long story short, we chucked a ps2 out of a window, then danced it into the ground. Don't want this to seem too much like Self-Pimpage, but thought those with anti-PS2 feelings may appreciate it. Here's the direct link to the file for lazy people -

Powerfull acting!! I could really feel the pain and frustration that was being portrayed. I think I did the same thing after my second PS2 stopped working.

After my first PS2 stopped working, I took it back and got a new one.

That is just pure stupidity in action.

True. But for some, like me, it's a way of life. ;)

This is a very entertaining video! Especially to someone like me, who absolutely DETESTS Sony consoles!
Keep up the great work! :)

Why does almost everyone here hate Sony? My PSX and PS2 are still working great. Perhaps you guys are too rough on them...

Have you had them since launch? A lot of Sony's first batches of PSX & PS2 seem to go faulty after about a year. :|

We have had two old Playstations and they both died the same way. They lost a tiny piece of plastic in the middle that helps it to detect if a CD is in. (We were careful too, but the darn things still broke.) I want to buy a new Playstation 2 to play new games and the old Playstation games that we already have. Any problems with buying a new one or do they all break? Another great thing is that the Playstation 2 has a tray, so there will be no more broken little pieces of plastic coming off of a big, idiotic CD nipple.

I think it's mainly the old PS2's that are unreliable. Most of the ones produced in the last 2 years or so are less likely to muck up. Imo.

Thanks. That's good to know. I might have to wait until April to get one, but I will get one. Probably right before there is a major price drop. Lucky me. I'll get to pay $50 more for mine, cool! :D

Afraid not. I think a PSX is a future possibility though.

No, I've had my PSX since '99 and my PS2 since '02.

You wouldn't be able to lift the Xbox up high enough to throw it out the window ;)

And think of the crater it would leave in the garden.

After my 2nd PS2 stopped working, I bought a Gamecube. Happy ever since...will never buy another PS2 for sake of principle.

Whats wrong with PS2? now X-Box thats the console that should have been broken! :)

Hmm if it really was broken already it was because it was in the
Upright position its a design flaw always horizontal position for me!
