After a full year, and tons of work, its ALIVE!!! I bought this game last year and for some odd reason decided to restore it. Lets start: Bad monitor, bad board, destroyed cabinet edges and, gee, no transformer for the pcb.

Well, that should have been a dumpster diver, but somehow the glass, sideart, control panel and its dumpy little style said 'fix me'. Fiberglass and body putty rebuilt the edges. New t-molding and a paint job rounded out the repair.

Found a harness online. 10 bucks for the wiring 25 for shipping!! Got a dead cocktail Pong clone, but it had a good monitor, so that was next. Then the board......

Every single 7474 on the pcb was bad. Either it took a shock at one time, or somehow they all went bad over time. Its a hybrid game, uses a graphic ROM but no processor....wierd.

Had a great friend take a look at it for me, he helped me get the board going (I got it breathing, he made it dance!).

After all that, I got it home two days ago, stripped the coin door down. Just finished the painting on it, and I should have it together in time for the Philly show. Cant wait to let this one have life again. She truly needed everything you could need. I'll get some pics for you guys soon. Right now..

I tried it on my machine, but it didn't work for some odd reason. I still get the normal plane graphics. Weird.

Since you like seeing "Los Gatos" on this game, I suggest picking up a Steeplechase too. Firing mine up and seeing those cool sparkly buttons light up is nothing short of cool :)
