Ever notice all the references to masturbation on the Guile, Chun Li, and Blanka stages? Why would Capcom appear to insult their gamers like this? On Chun Li's stage for instance, a guy is choking a chicken. I'm not making this up, take a look. And on Guile's stage, the characters are very obviously making gestures.

So then Capcom is making a hidden insulting statement that its gamers are invariably doing this activity if they enjoy this game?

Why?

Welcome to 1991! :P
These observations were all the rage back when the early SF2 games were king in the arcades.

Whether or not they were intentional or not was never officially proven, but they certainly helped to make SF2 the phenomenon it was back in the day.

I knew the ones on the Guile and Chun Li stages, but what's the reference on Blanka's?

It had to be intentional. And it's probably one of the more subversive bits to make it into a mainstream hit (Pretty sure the console versions also have the chicken as well, something that must've totally blew by Nintendo.)

DO NOT search for Chun Li on Google Image Search! Disgusting! I was able to find a screenshot of the Guile stage, but was sick after seeing Chun Li images :woozy: :o :D

Well maybe I shouldn't get all excited/upset about this...

I love the game, it is my favorite...maybe that's part of it.

But as for the Blanka stage, the reference is kinda hidden...

In the center of the screen there is this long vine, and the kid that looks like he's cheering has his hand in an interesting position on the vine.

When you are looking for references in the game, after other more obvious ones, they are easier to see.

I really haven't seen any other ones....although one must wonder that they did put a very large tree snake on the Blanka stage also.

Snake on tree, Fish on the hut!

(any similarities? :ponder: ) |style_emoticons/atariage/icon_innocent.gif

also when the monk stands up on the thailand 2 stage the second monk is
still by the pot and the stance is similar to urination! dunno if ya saw that 1? :D

Also could you do some searching for me? on E.Hondas stage the
Ukiyo E character on the murial holds some Kanji (Writing) I wonder what
this means? as Ukiyo E art style was used in a lot of Japanese pornography!

I challenge each of the detractors of H herein to single combat.
