I was thinking the same thing when I checked it out. 
In all fairness thou, he just started it up a few days ago, give him some credit. Hopefully it'll shape up. Those New England guys have a nice little setup, http://www.gis.net/~bertulli/ Something to shoot for.I did forward the new site over to another board I know of at least one or two more WI dudes into gaming.

He seems pretty sincere when I talked with him the few times.
On a related note, I'm still working on/kicking around restarting the original Milatari as a Milwaukee area video came/computer collectors group.
