Has anyone played the new Simpsons or LOTR Stern Pinballs? I was wondering how their pinballs stack up to the classics?

I've spent a long time with each, and the quick answer is that they are both awesome, awesome games. Stern's quality has gone through the room recently, and their games are truly some of the best gems that I have seen in a long, long time.

I played T3 and thought it was great, but I didn't care for LOTR. IMHO the subject matter doesn't lend itself to pinball. It just seemed odd.

Tempest,

Just curious if you have ever played Medieval Madness? The layouts were very similar and the themes were relatively similar. Medieval Madness is generally considered one of the true crown jewels of pinball.

I thought the theme was perfect for a pinball too. I guess it is just a matter of opinion.

Anyone seen a Ripley's yet?
