Guess what ancient game system was prominently displayed in last night's episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force? That's right, folks, it was the Atari 2600. I've got screen captures from both that episode and Sealab 2021 (with two of the characters holding Atari joysticks) if anyone would like to have them. Just PM me and let me know!

I saw that too! I flipped out with the Ouigi (sp) and Insult games! They had Shake on there too. Not a bad "would-have-been" screenshot either :)

Man, I thought I was the only one nutty enough to stay up that late on Sunday :)

I saw it too. Shake haunting the 2600. :D One of the funniest episodes I've seen yet.

Post some screens! I missed it because I was trying to beat my high score on Kaboom for the HSC!

I'll have to check trhis out more.

I have been catching some episodes of ATHF and it's not bad. I finally understand where Shortly, Mr.Foodmonster and others have gotten their avatars. :D

ATHF took awhile to grow on me, but I like it quite a bit now. (I saw the Atari episode last night, too.) Sealab 2021 just doesn't work for me. It's not absurd or funny enough.

I made this: http://upload.creame...atari-shake.gif

If you guys are into any other Adult Swim stuff (The Brak Show, to be specific), I made the only website dedicated to Brak's Dad. :)

Yea it was 2 weeks ago. I'm gonna get a sound clip of brak saying "Brak loves Atari!" from the Dinner Party episode.

OK, here's a nice collection of screen caps from the Aqua Teen Hunger Force episode, along with a couple from Sealab 2021. I hope you'll forgive the quality of the pictures... I'm using an older video capture card, so they're not especially crisp.

Jess, thanks for the pack o' captures. I've got a new desktop background. :)

The cue cards the witchdoctor had them read were hilarious. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

I watched an interesting little documentary about the animators of
ATHF (as well as other shows on adult swim) one of the animators has a
mint condition and working atari 2600 next to his workstation (it was
running circus atari during the interview) Also of interest, originally
the mooninites (the wierd little videogame charactors) where supposed
to be the result of some mutation from the landfill of atari ET carts
buried in the desert but when they couldnt find a way to explain all that
in the short 12 minute episode they just made them come from the moon.
The sound effects for the mooninites when they move or walk is straight
out of 2600 pac man.

great show btw glad to see so many others like it!!!
