Hello, Theres this nice Vertical Shoot'em up which was made around 1988 or 89 thats I wish I could remember the name off. :ponder:

As far as I remember it, it was a space game or at least the 1st level was, and there where some nice power-ups to collect in it.

One of the power-ups was this full-on continuous bright lazer were you could just hold down the fire button and the move around which the controls destroying anything that got in the lazer's path.

Can anyone give me any suggestions what this game could be ?? :?

Sounds like it could be Raiden 2. That has the continuous laser powerup on the first level that swirls around killing everything. But that is not located in space on the first level.

Well looking at the screenshots it wasn't Galaga '88, but maybe it was Raiden 2, im not sure until I test this within MAME and ill should notice it straight away.

So, Ill get back here to let yous know if it was successful or unsucessful.

Another thing I can remember, the game played noticeable Music aswell, with (well watching other ppl play), was this bright white/gray zigzag continusously Lazer, which I looked at, a bit of a cheat really (well its looked like it!)

Just really wanna play this game...

* Cant edit my post for some reason!... :?:?:?

Sorry about the double post. But it can't be Raiden 2, as according to the Coin-Top museum, this game didnt come out to 1993

I know it was a game in the very late 80s. but 93 is way far off.

hmmm, any more suggestions?... :?
