This is a great classic! Only runs on OS-B or 800 machines - XL/XE need Translator.

Play on the HOUSE CAT setting - Use the Joystick to change difficulty.

Contest ends NOON EST 12/10

Good Luck!

It is hard to complete the rooms, but once you do it helps out your score quite a bit. I think I completed two windows on this game. And I always seem to have the best luck on the bookcase screen, and the fishbowl screen.

Okay forget that last score. If you finish the "girlfirend cat" screen/window, you get tons of points. Looks like that is pretty critical, even if it is pretty difficult to get to the top of the clouds (I think that is what they are)

16801. No picture, I should be able to do better, didn't even complete the "get the girl" screen.

I've scored into the 30,000-40,000 range twice now, but it's not enough, so I'll keep playing before posting another score!

I love this game, it's such a great concept. It gets frustrating for me though, and I can't play game after game of it. More like one or two games then turn it all off.

Three minutes? You've got to be joking... it took me about 15-20 to get this score:

What I do, for what it's worth (I haven't cracked 100,000 yet!) is go to one side of the screen so that all the other cats go there and then run and jump to the other side, trying to get as high as possible. Also, the presents work nicely, as long as you can drop it and stay on that line. It seems the longer you goof around in this level the harder it becomes because a lot of your bottom row will be gone.

I like the fact that the more of these screens you miss the more presents you get. This is a nice game all around!

Yes, it is :)

One thing in Alley cat is, that if you know the rooms, you easily can handle them. So the room with the Spiders and with the Fishes can be done in less than a minute (Spiders in less than 10 sec.)
But the Hearts in the Cat-Room are "too" randomly handled. So with a random possiblity you can jump across the cats, that regular isn't possible from the level of "House Cat".
In the 2nd level (Tom cat level I think) , it was possible to jump directly to the white Kitten ;) and the game gave me nearly 100000 points ...

126412 - FINALLY!

Lvl 3 is tough - I only got into 1 window and was quickly picked off by the dog!

This is a great 8bit title!

Why it's not possible to edit messages? So replace thrashes with ashbin (ashcan-usa) but I think you know what I meant :)
