Thanks for the list, JacbZu7zu. I was looking forward to your list because you've played so many games. I've always thought E.T. was a unique game that gets a bad rap, but the agent and doctor always frustrated me.
Yeah, played nearly all of them... some homebrews left to go. A couple oddball titles too like Spacemaster D7??,Threshold or Laser Gates etc. I chose games that I have most nostalgia, I like personaly, or pencil erases on my high scores... it's tough to pick only 10!
Cool! The agent doc, are tough, til you memorize where the wells are. Then it's a fun ride, E.T.'s my favorite Atari charecter to move around, even his head "extends" like in the movie.
E.T., was one of the first Atari 2600 games I ever played... before I ever got an Atari.
In the 80's I played some 2600 games at my cousins (198? well the 80's), she had E.T., Asteroids, and a few others. I also got to be in awe of Pitfall, (loved the activision artwork) I was actually pretty jealous my cousin got that... but I totally didn't lead on. I was smiling anyway, I told her.. THAT'S A GOOD ONE! ... she nodded. (I remember it had buzz somehow??) I did play my brothers "borrowed" Pitfall once, when I was a 4-5 yrs old in early 80's... it was amazing, and the alligators creeped me out! I was a little kid/thing in 80's, (youngest of 2 bros)... but I remember E.T. impressed me for some reason, years later I got my cousins copy LOL she finally got rid of it, when she moved... and I bought the manual and got to really enjoy the different quests and finding easter egg/s. The better I got, more I liked it...it's my Adventure, so to say...
My first Atari 2600, I got from the newspaper... $15. I still remember how much hahah. It was the all black Vader 2600 console. I guess you can say that's my favorite model of all. I also like the 6'er woodgrain a lot. I got interested again with Atari because of the article in one of the first Gamepro magazines 1989, in the back it was called "Atari Advantage".
I also ALMOST bought an Atari jacket from, "2600 Connection newsletter"? My mother said, "its kinda cool you could get that, if you want." but the silver remined me of futuristic attempts in the early 80's, and it was nearing 1990!? I was too embaressed/shy to pull it off.. lol. I sorta wanted it though, possibly my first gulity pleasure... I passed on, ah well.
I could go on for days about gaming memories, my mind works like a computer...
I don't forget much.
Here's a video of the "Silver Future" look of the early 80's...

I'm sure Kim Carnes could pull the look off better then I could!
Sorry if video didn't show up front... I can't remember how to do it
or maybe videos are blocked now?? ...
