Hi everybody. Im new here and to all the talk but i do love the old Atari system. Though, and i do have a dumb question for yall. Does the 5200 and 7800 games work on a 2600? Just something i was curious about. Thanks!

5200 and 7800 games will not work on the 2600. 2600 games do work on the 7800. There might be an adapter to get 2600 & 7800 games to work on teh 5200, but that I am not sure about.

nope the 5200/7800 wont work on the 2600

but the 2600 games will work on the 7800 machine with no adaptor

Ebay 5200 VCS Adaptor

here sell someone a Adaptor to play 2600 games on an Atari 5200.

What's so horrible about it? It doesn't look broken or anything. Or are you just talking picture quality? Needs better light.

The one I have has the instructions. Ha! But it may be Albert's one of these days....

I've seen much worse pictures on eBay... it's surprising how often people try to use blurry pictures of 100 Atari games where you can't tell what the names even are on any of them... and while we're on the topic, what's with people taking a picture of 6 games, then using the same picture on 6 different auctions? I think it's really annoying... seeing great games for $1, then realizing the auction is actually only for the Combat in the group. Is it that hard to crop out the other cartridges??
