Howdy!
It seems that with the number of atari carts in one's collection, you can get a pretty good idea of how far off the deep end the collector has gone. For instance I'm up to 320. Now if I add that I don't collect the non-exclusive sears titles that give you a pretty good idea of my atari madness.

However, out of curiosity I'm wondering what people's 2600 Hardware collections look like.

Here's mine to get started. I'm guessing I'm probably middle of the road...

- - - - - - - - - - -
Atari VCS 6-switch
Atari VCS 4-switch (woodgrain)
Atari 2600 jr
Starpath Supercharger
Various Atari+3rd party joysticks(all standard) in various conditions
Various Atari paddles in various conditions
Two keyboard controllers
Star Raiders controller
Two driving controllers
Two Atari Kid's Controllers
Two Atari Trackballs
Two Atari Track & Field controllers
One Amiga joyboard

Cheers!

1 x 7800
1 x woody 6
1 x Darth - not working
3 jnr (1 not working)
haven't a clue how many atari Joys without counting
1 star raiders pad
2 original atari power supplies, 1 strange 7800 one and a normal one.

Pretty small really but its the games that count 196 carts.

Adam

EDIT - 2 7800 joypads but one of them has the thumb bit that screws into the d-pad missing.

Trust me, the N64 will never be a classic - it takes more than time to become a classic

- couldn't resist that one

Marco:

Maybe not classic, but the N64 definitely has collectibility, as it's the last console to take cartridges.

And personally, I think it's one of the best looking consoles ever (but let's not talk about the Pikachu version -- holy SHIT that thing is ugly!).

Hardware:
Atari 2600 Jr. (Short Rainbow)
Sears Telegames (4 switch)
Atari VCS (6 Switch)
Atari VCS (6 Switch)
3 broken consoles

Periferals:
9 regular controllers
3 gemsticks
3 Wico Command joysticks
1 "pistol grip" joystick (brand ?)
1 Pointmaster joystick

Games:
About 25 or so

My favorite stuff is the game catalogs. In particular, one from 1983 in which a lot of the stuff never made it.

Here's what I don't have:

working 7800 (never can find them)
4 switch 2600 (don't like them as much)
kids controllers, light gun, steering paddles(hope to get these soon)

A few cool things I do have:

2 Wico Trackballs
128 game menu-driven multicart (homemade)
Cuttle Cart (awesome)
Commodore Paddles
2600 6-slot pushbutton cartridge switcher
Atari 1040ST w/80286 board (runs DOS under TOS!)

Counting Atari stuff only:

1x Heavy Sixer
1x Six Switch (Light)
3x 2600 Jr.
1x SuperCharger
1x 5200 (2 port)
1x Jaguar (complete with box)
1x Jaguar CD (complete with box)
1x CatBox (Complete with box)
1x Lynx (with box)
1x Lynx Carrying Sack
2x AC Adaptor (One of the original grey ones)
1x Original Pong machine (Telegames logo, with box)
1x Pong AC Adaptor ("Battery Eliminator")
1x Original Pong RF Switch (Strange looking)

Joysticks:
4x Atari joysticks
1x Fake Atari joystick (unknown maker)
4x Star Raiders Keypads (+ 2x overlays)
2x Atari paddles (and 1x Commodore paddles)
2x Gemini controllers
1x Epyx 500XJ
2x Slik Stick
1x Quickshot (Crappy joystick)
1x Wico Command Control
1x Wico Boss (Another crappy one)
0x 5200 Controllers ( )
2x Jaguar Controllers
1x Jaguar Pro-Controller

Damn, I never realized I had so many joysticks! Normally I wouldn't include RF switches in a list like this, but the one I have with my Pong machine is rather unusual looking. I don't know for sure that it's the original one that came with it, but I've never seen another like it, so I assume it was (Plus, I even have the box, so things were kept in good shape).

I can't say whether or not 64 will ever become classic, but one can tell what will be. PSX and Dreamcast both come to mind.
