I was playing some carts when I came across a broken activision game. I took out th chip and I strung it tonight. Now I where an Atari 2600 chip. Even though the necklace looks a lil funky it's stil really kool. Im gunna get so made fun of in school but who the hell cares.

oh, you'll get made fun of, but I doubt anybody will recognize it as an Atari chip. If they do, they have no reason to make fun of you.

Interesting idea. I have an Atari Lynx game that no longer works. Maybe I could use that as a Christmas ornament or maybe have it strung up and put on the rear view mirror of my car.

Who knows? You might have started a trend

My keychain is an old 256K, 30-pin RAM chip from an old 386. I figured it had no other good uses, so that's where it's been for the last 5 years or so. All the chips have broken off the board, and the traces are scratched to hell from my keys, but it's survived surprisingly well.

You're not a loser for wearing it... the fact that you corrected them is what makes you a loser

Dude, don't sweat them making fun of you, just find your own cool. (and if they did make fun of you, you can't say you didn't ask for it...correcting them...you only made it worse.)

I've been throwing around the idea of making a pendant/thing of an atari fuji symbol, by carving it out of wood. (first I have to sharpen my knife though). I figure people won't give me any grief 'cause they'll think its something 'tribal'....

Anyone else made any atari jewellry?
