Can anybody tell me how rare the Atari light gun is? Also, if anyone could provide with some shots of one, it'd be greatly appreciated.

If you are talking about the one that looks like a hand gun, its not that rare. I have the silver one that can also be used up the XE system and comes with deadly ducks. Now I know that there is an orange gun, also from Atari, but that one I don't know how rare it is.

I mean just a regular 2600 light gun. I've never seen one, so I don't know what color. I know that it works with "Sentinel".

'fraid there's no such thing as a 2600 light gun... the XE light gun is what Sentinel uses. I'd post a link to within AtariAge's controller section... but until things are back up, I'll provide an auction link instead. It's grey, and doesn't match the 2600 color scheme... but oh well.

I know nothing of an orange gun though...

Here's the link to our 2600 Light Gun page. Not terribly exciting, just two games that took advantage of it and one of them is a prototype. There are also some 7800 games that work with it, you can look at those here.

That thing looks pretty cool. Too bad "Sentinel" is rare. I'll try to pick one up, though. Thanks, everyone.
