My best so far 140400... not bad for never playing the game before. Heck I always wanted an 800xl in my youth & now is when I am able to afford it

sorry for the question, 
but how can I play this game, i've tryied to play thorugh joysticks, but it doesnt work.
does it use something special like keyboard, is for os-b or something in special.
