I remember an article in Electronic Games magazine from around '83 that talked about how Atari was dropping production of a couple of titles. The picture with the article implied that the titles could then potentially become collectors items. I recall that the picture (actually a drawing) contained Miniature Golf and Star Ship, but I was wondering if there was any information available to indicate that other titles had been discontinued at this time....
Also..is there an on-line repository of Electronic Games scans?

I don't recall the exact EG issue, but I know there was a similar mention of 'collectable carts' in an Atari Age issue. What prompted it was Atari dropping older titles (such as Star Ship) from their catalogs.

Miniature Golf, Star Ship, AND Slot Machine, were the first to be dropped.

starship is a funky game, i just realized that atari had to have discontinued titles just like nintendo/sega/sony does (and soon Microsoft) is there a list of the games from start to finish?
