devwebcl
Hi, Last week I was browsing Holmes CD and I found a Basic Demo that draws an Atari 800 only with drawto and a television, in the TV it writes the name of the authors and some address. I guess is from an European Club from the 80s, but I cant remember the name of the file (I think is from e-magazine section). Anybody could help me to find the name of that demo. Cheers, --devwebcl
www.atarimania.com
From a German club but I'm almost sure it's a hack... There are different versions of this demo but the original is probably from the US. -- Atari Frog http://www.atarimania.com

Goochman
Gr.8 is 320x200 Gr.0 is really a charmode of graphics 8 - 8x8 cells for characters, so technically I guess it is 320x200 as well?
devwebcl
small remake of atari 800 demo, still it has a small bug when is plotting the chart. but the source code is included if anyone wants to fix it. (besides the colors are diferentes because sitll I dont know which are the correct one.(see post above). the idea of making this applet is to publish it in my webpage. --devwebcl a800demo.zip
oesii
So you remade it into a java applet? Cool, my first inclination after downloading the basic program was to change the listing and change "Education", "Entertainment" into dirty words and seeing how that looked on my computer
Goochman
SOmeone did make a 'dirty' version of that demo - if interested Ill dig it up - I was surprised to see it going through Holmes stuff.
devwebcl
ok. let's see that dirty version and I'll try to convert it to applet too. if you see the code I tried to make as similar I could. --devwebcl

Hi This is the Atari Dealer Demo from 1980, both the original and the altered version (with naughty/dirty/sexy text). If you're talking about this demo, then you're wrong. This is not the demo that devweb has ported to Java. Regards PS: You need to use the Atari800WinPLus "FileLoad Executable Alt+X" menu option to load these demos, and they don't run under OS-B.[/b] add.zip
