Or you could go the Prince route and call it by the following image:

Since Q*bert is such a fowl mouthed creature, how about naming it "Holy $h!t!"

Amusing name, but I don't think I'd want to actively promote that here on AtariAge and at shows we attend. :)

Personally I'm still partial to "@!#?@!"

Everybody knows it's a Q*Bert clone, yes. And part of the charm is there's no possible way to say it. :D

@!#?@!, I suppose it's a nice title for game but how the heck are we going to say that?

"Bleep Bleep Bleepity Bleep"

I like this name, too. If it has to change, why not make it amusing?

Wasn't that the original name for the arcade game, but they changed it to q bert so you could say the name...I think I read that somewhere.

I can think of a few different ways, actually. However, as we are often reminded, this is a family site and... :ponder:

To paraphrase a line from an old SNL commercial:

"The game title so disgusting we can't say it on TV! Ask for it by name!"

You know, I'm surprised that nobody has thought of Cube*bert :D

How about an option to allow the joystick to be held regularly or at an angle? I regularly play 5200 Q*bert, which doesn't have the joystick rotating-thingy like the 2600 version, with a 7800 stick and never miss a jump.

The popular choices seem to be "@!#?@!" or "holy shit". I suppose "holy shit" might make a great easter egg.

I'd vote for the unpronouncable name as well, though if asked in person, I would pronounce it roughly like "Kyuburt".
