Go Fish! is an original game loosely based on the Intellivision game Shark! Shark! - you are a wee fish and, to survive, you must eat other, smaller fish to grow. But watch out for the shark, as he's also on the hunt for food and you could be his next meal! AtariAge and programmer Bob Montgomery have teamed up to sponsor a contest to create original artwork for Go Fish! This label artwork will appear on all copies of Go Fish!, which will make its debut at the upcoming Oklahoma Video Game Expo, after which it will be available in the AtariAge Store. To learn how to enter the contest, please visit the Go Fish! Label Contest page.

Here's my submission. I have another version that has the shark with it's tongue out, but I haven't really decided if I should go with that one instead...I also need to add the AtariVox Enhanced part to it, but I haven't found a good way to do that yet...

Looks like everybody has had the same idea. Here's my version (that I DID start long before I saw the pics on this thread... )

I just played Shark! Shark! for the first time this weekend. I'd played a Java version before, but didn't realize, at the time, it was based on Shark! Shark!

Looks like fun, can't wait to see this.

Here is my take on this label:
(These are scaled down versions of the print ready labels...)

It looks like everyone has similar ideas! I also designed this before I found this thread... (Is there a reason that none of the entries are on the actual contest page?)

I really like the texturing and design of your label, manu_pk!

I haven't posted the entries to the contest page yet. I will try to do that tonight or tomorrow at the latest. I'm also going to email everyone who's submitted entries for earlier label design contests to help spur further interest. :)

How about something MC Escher like? E.g. some (3?) fishes eating each other like in his "Waterfall" picture? Each fish looks larger than the one it is currently eating, but it isn't.

Here is my first entry. I plan on putting it on other standard Atari variation labels along with couple other graphics coming down the line (hopefully).

Thanks,

Corey

Just wondering how long it will take to get the labels I posted to the contest site? Hopefully I will have couple more this week before the contest ends. I emailed them all as requested.

I just finished posting your three entries, along with entries from Al Andujar, Jr., Tim Lehner, and Keitaro:

Only a week remaining to submit entries for the contest, so if you've been procrastinating you don't have too much time left!

I sketched out a couple of ideas when the contest started, but haven't had the time to finish them yet. I'll try to get something submitted though.
