7800 for 2600???

i found pole position 2 at the value village today... it was for the 7800, but i wasnt sure if a 7800 game can play on a 2600, or a 2600 game plays on the 7800 system.... whats the deal?

Only the 7800 can play 7800 games and 2600 games

The 2600 only plays 2600 games
