Hi guys
i got a Supercharger demonstration unit.A really nice item.I would be insterested,to know,what is inside this little box. :?
Does anybody know?
And how much is this item worth?

According to the description in the DP guide

"A demo unit that connects to a Starpath Supercharger, this box contains a demo
"movie" of various Starpath games. Much different than the game previews normally
seen at the end of their game tapes."

Yes,i know this,but i would like to know,which kind of hardware is inside this box?

It's worth $150 to me, you selling?


I think CPU had some vids up before, but they are all gones now. Insides are only gonna be seen if you crack it open! Please don't use hammer though. :skull:

FYI...

The Demo unit sends a signal to the SC (a bootstrap code) that enables the joystick port to load the games. So the demo is loaded through the joystick port, not the audio. A dump of the rom would most likely be a multi-load operation with some mods to the code to get it to work. Of course, it would all proabaly fit onto the CC2 and work fine witht eright bank siwtch settings :)

Dumping should be trivial on a properly re-programmed 7800.

...but you might need to take the 7800 out of its case first... :-)
