Maybe I'm a freak, but I gave away my 2600 5 years ago when I moved and I miss that squeeky sound the joysticks made when you use them.

Gave away.
A 2600 you donīt give away, you donīt sell it. You give it to your kids when you die.

The government can take my Atari away when they pry it from my cold dead hand.

Oh.. everyone who has a pending order with me.. I'm packaging up your games (and giving them a final test) right now, and I'll have your price quotes tonite.

Cheers,

KA

If it makes any difference, I gave it to a dear friend who loved video games as much as I do. You miss my point about the squeaky noise that joy sticks make. Does anyone else like that sound too?

Yes, I do as well, though I do prefer the more pronounced rubbery-grinding squeak the joystick on the Atari 5200 controllers makes.

Yeah, so the first thing your kids do is sell it off!!!! No Way Jose!, Bury it with you!! (in the final 'Woodgrain', how appropriate!)

Yeah, it makes a difference. At least someone else got a kick out of it. It's not like getting another for yourself is gonna be expensive or anything

Whoa whoa whoa! I know what he's talking about with the joystick thing! I love the sound my 7800 Pro-Line joysticks make when I throw them agaist the wall because they won't respond on screen.
